Folks, I may have gone a little off the deep end with this week’s playlist. Originally, I was going to do a crossover playlist, about the evil deeds done by mankind. The playlist would not only fit into the current Halloween theme but also fit in with the historical playlist I did the last week of September. Long story short, it didn’t happen. Instead, I just decided to focus on the subject of evil. Yes, This Playlist is Evil. It got dark, really fast. You’ve been warned.
How evil did this playlist get? We’ve got The Rolling Stones giving Sympathy for The Devil! Sufjan Stevens, Motörhead, Pearl Jam, and Jane’s Addiction all sing about serial killers. U2 and Woody Guthrie sing about massacres. Johnny Cash and Nick Cave both sing about evil, evil men. Of course, INXS warns us that we all have the Devil Inside. And lookout for the Talking Heads as they sing about Psycho Killers! Even The Beatles. ELO and Elvis sing about evil women with the Devil in Disguise. And Stryper? They just sing about God Damn Evil. Powerwolf, Tenacious D, Nirvana, Ladytron, Peter Gabriel, and more. Don’t worry though. Most of these artists don’t endorse the evil they sing about. Most of them…
Enjoy This Playlist is Evil.

Did This Playlist is Evil get too dark?
Yeah, I think it did. in my defense, I snuck in a couple of Christian songs. The aforementioned Stryper song, along with the song Six, Six, Six by Degarmo & Key. There’s also A song by The Choir. But maybe you need a little more Christian music to cleanse you. Why not check out my CCM playlist? After all, why should the Devil have all the good music?
That’s all I’ve got for now. Make sure to come back next week for a final Halloween playlist, as well as a special Halloween featured article! I guess I better get busy on writing that!
Until next time, rock on and rocksteady!
