    When I was maybe ten or eleven, I got my very first U2 tape: U2 – Live “Under a Blood Red Sky.” The album has a lot of sentimental meaning to my life – as U2 has since become one of my all time favorite bands. I’ve listened to the album probably several hundred, maybe even a thousand times. I think I know every note played, every lyric sang, and  every word Bono says in between or even during the eight songs.     Retro Album Review: Passafist (1994)

    Recently I’ve been dealing with my midlife crisis by exploring all the music I loved in my youth. Of course, some of this music has held up pretty well despite my current standards, while some of this music sounds pretty dated. The top 40 music I so loved as a teen isn’t really what I enjoy now, though some of the album rock I listened to in college is still quite amazing and relevant.
