Live Music in Your Living Room

Your favorite band isn’t coming to town anytime soon. Sorry folks, but it’s the truth. I for one have had two concerts say they’re trying to reschedule, and one flat out cancel. I’m holding my breath that Alanis Morisette with Garbage happens in June, we’ll see. But friends, just because no live music is happening right now, that doesn’t mean you have to forgo your live music needs! You can listen to live music in your living room!

Yes, you can go to a concert with bands such as U2, The Police, Paul McCartney, The Cranberries, Johnny Cash, and so many other great artists. Best of all, you don’t have to leave the comfort of your couch! These concerts will come right to you. Ok, ok, this live music will come to you through audio recordings. It might not be the same as being at an actual concert, but it’s what we got right now. So, why not make the best of it? After all, did you expect The Cure and Peter Frampton to come to your house? Is that even realistic?

One thing that is realistic, you’ll have a rocking time with live music in your living room.

Live Music in your Living Room

Holy crap, live music in your living room rocked!

Didn’t it? Wow. I can’t believe that jam session The Doors got into! Truly epic! I’m so happy the live album is an actual thing. So many of these artists are no longer touring, so recordings are the only chance we can hear these people live.

You may have noticed, this playlist is a bonus “weekly” playlist. That’s because we all need a little extra music right now. We’re all going nuts and stir crazy, we’re all scared out of our minds. So, with that in mind, I feel it’s extremely important to provide a little something extra.

By the way, if instrumentals are your thing, come back Monday! I’ll be putting out another playlist. This will be a part two to the “Calm Music for the Current Crisis” playlist. This time, however, the music will feature nothing but instrumentals. It’ll be soothing and calming, I guarantee it.

Keep safe and calm everyone.
