It Will Get Loud!

Today’s playlist might have a lot of songs you already know. I hope you don’t mind. Today’s playlist features The Foo Fighters, Joan Jett, The White Stripes, REM – just to name a few. So, why would AudioPerfecta put together a playlist like this? I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. I love Rock and Roll! Ok – maybe I said that a little too emphatically, but dang it! That’s the truth! Excessive exclamation points be darned! It will get loud!

Backing up – sometimes we just need to rock out with a song we already know. I’m sure it surprises no one that I spent many a morning getting ready for middle school, singing/shouting whatever song was playing on the radio. I’m sure many of you have as well. I will even admit to using a hair dryer as though it were a microphone. Come on, tell me you haven’t! Anyways, independent or mainstream, here are some of my favorite songs I like to blast from my hifi. Turn it up to eleven! It will get loud! Oh, and if you’re blasting this at work – well – don’t. Some of these songs are NSFW and I don’t want you to get fired.

It Will Get Loud.

Stay tuned for the next couple days!

I realize I published this playlist a little later in the week than normal, but that does not mean this week will lack in posts. Tune in tomorrow, for a post I’ve been wanting to write for over twelve years. Saturday will bring an even more special post – a playlist dedicated to my mother. Saturday would be her 69th birthday, and this will be the first birthday since her death last November. Needless to say both these posts will be especially close to my heart. I hope you enjoy them.

Afraid of missing these or future posts? Scroll to the bottom of the page and subscribe! It will get loud today, and it will get loud again! One last thing – if you have not seen the film “It Might Get Loud,” I highly recommend a viewing. The film served as an inspiration for the title of this playlist, but more importantly focuses on three incredible guitarists (all featured in this playlist).

Rock on AudioPerfectionists!
