Feelin' Groovy

Feelin’ Groovy

Ahhh, the Spring sun has come. The warm rays of sunshine gives a feeling one just cannot explain. The Feeling of falling in love. The feeling of a 1960s hippy without a care in the world. The sunshine just leaves us feelin’ groovy. So why not add to this feeling? Why not listen to a bunch of 1960s and 70s hippy songs about love, peace, and all that good stuff? That, my friends, is what this playlist is all about. This playlist will leave you feelin’ groovy as you bask in the wonder of Spring.

This playlist explores all the greats of groovy music. We have The Beatles, The Mamas and the Papas, The Doors The Zombies, The Turtles, the Byrds – even The Monkees (too bad The The wasn’t active during this era, they’d fit right in!). The Feelin’ Groovy Playlist explores folk songs by Peter, Paul and Mary and Bob Dylan, as well as psychedelic rock by Jimi Hendrix and Jefferson Airplane. Of course Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, Chicago, and Simon and Garfunkel all have a place on the Feelin’ Groovy Playlist.

So, sit back, relax, and let the sunshine! Get groovy with the Feelin’ Groovy Playlist.

Feelin’ Groovy Yet?

You should! If this playlist, coupled by the warm weather, does not make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside – well, I don’t know what will! Well – maybe some covers might help. Good news, tomorrow I’ll be publishing an article about some of the best covers ever recorded. This article will feature everyone from The Beatles to Weird AL. It will be quite the list.

Maybe you’re sick of covers tough. Maybe there’s too many cover vs original articles. Hey, you might even have an idea for a series you’d like me to explore. Well – let me know. Contact me via Facebook or Twitter. Maybe you have an idea for a playlist – I’m all ears.

Keep it groovy kids!
