Folks, the holidays are approaching. I got you all a gift! Well, actually I’ve donated your gift to a place called The Human Fund. Oh, but this isn’t a monetary donation, this is a donation of music! So yeah, Mr. Kruger won’t be coming to your house for Festivus. Ok, ok, enough Seinfeld references, I just couldn’t help myself! I did, however, put together a playlist for “humans” this week. Every song on this playlist on Music for Humans is about humans, everybody, brothers and sisters, sons and daughters, people, and the like.
Music for Humans shows the lighter side of humanity, like Everybody Dance Now by C+C Music Factory and Everybody Have Fun Tonight by Wang Chung. This playlist also shows the darker side of humanity in the songs Human Rocket by DEVO and Everybody Wants to Rule the World by Tears for Fears. Artists such as Van Halen, U2, David Byrne, R.E.M., The Pogues, The Decemberists, John Legend, Daft Punk, Sly & The Family Stone, Yoko Ono, and more all remind us what it is to be human.
Fellow humans, enjoy Music for Humans.

If I’m not human, will I enjoy music for humans?
Well โ I have no idea. Maybe you’ll enjoy this week’s playlist, maybe you won’t. But maybe you’ll enjoy another playlist? Check out the Listen to this series: Volume 1, Volume 2, and Volume 3 are all full of songs that will just wow and amaze you.
Speaking of listening, I want to do more of the “I Listen To” series. Are there any artists that I don’t cover which you think I should cover? Leave a comment below, and maybe I’ll feature that artist in a future article.
And speaking of future articles, I promise, a few are in the works! I’ve just gotten really, really, really busy. And sick as well. But I promise, more featured articles are on their way. i am working on one right now in fact. It’s a little different, but I think it’ll be interesting for everyone to read. I hope to have it published by next weekend.
Stay safe everyone. It’s going to be a rocky couple of months. COVID-19 is spreading like wildfire, and it’s going to get worse. Please use caution in everything you do. Stay away from crowds if you can, wear masks, social distance, and tell your friends you’ll face time with them instead of hanging out next Friday. I know this time seems nothing like normal human life, but it’s what we have to get through to keep being human.
Rock on, and Rocksteady everyone.
