Blasting Guitars!!!

Blasting Guitars!!!

Last week, I brought you “the acoustic version” of several popular songs. This week, I’m giving you the antithesis of said acoustic version. This week – bring you a playlist called “Blasting Guitars!!!” What do blasting guitars entail? Electric, loud, and boisterous guitars. This playlist has punk, Metal, shoegazer, post rock, and the like. This playlist should be played as loud as your environment allows because that’s how these songs should be enjoyed.

The “Blasting Guitars!!!” playlist features artists such as My Bloody Valentine, Mogwai, Sleater-Kinney, Cream, Metallica, and several others. Honestly, this might be one of my favorite playlists to date. So….instead of a lot of fanfare, let’s just listen to the music.

Again, listen to this playlist as loud as your environment allows. Enjoy!

More blasting guitars to come!

And more acoustic versions as well! Maybe not right away, but soon. I have some amazing stuff planned for the next few months – so stick around and you’ll see!

As far as this week goes – come around tomorrow and you’ll see a cover vs original article featuring the New Order / Joy Division classic “Ceremony.” Ceremony is a very special and sacred song for me – so I put my best foot forward on writing about this song.

If you’re paying attention, you might notice that this week’s playlist is coming out on a Tuesday, and the main article published on a thursday, instead of the normal playlist thursday, main article friday format. That’s because on another site of mine, fictionalpdx.com. I will be publishing a very special St. Patrick’s Day themed story come Friday. I won’t tell you the details, but it involves leprechauns and toy horses. So if this peaks your interest, be sure to check out fictionalpdx.com this friday!

I hope you all enjoyed this week’s playlist. Blasting Guitars was actually playlist #50! In honor of this number – I have a special playlist planned for next week. It would have been this week – but – well – you’ll see. There’s a reason I made next week’s playlist #51.
