Music & Emotions

Music has the power to summon strong emotions. Your favorite song might link itself to a fond memory, while that song you can’t stand might link itself to a negative event in your life. A minor chord could make one feel melancholy, while an upbeat power chord might make you feel amazing. One might say that Music & Emotions go together like peanut butter and chocolate.

That’s what this week’s playlist is about โ€“ songs that bring out our emotions, both negative and positive. Some of these songs might make you feel sad, some might make you feel happy. Pleasure, anger, elation, passion, sadness, apathy, discouragement, hope, and so many more emotions will flow through you in this roller coaster of a playlist. Featuring Fleetwood Mac, Cake, Mariah Carey, Johnny Cash, Pearl Jam, Frank Sinatra, and so many more. Music & Emotions will take your soul on a journey of emotional exploration.

Enjoy this week’s playlist.

More Music & Emotions

Or, maybe less music. Last week’s article, as you may have noticed, failed to materialize. I just felt like the topic I chose to write about was not interesting and up to my standards. Likewise, this week, there will be no new article as well. I have been pretty busy, and just not able to give the time and energy in presenting a quality product. But fear not, there will be something next week! I promise! I have a few ideas, but if you have an idea, I would love to hear about it.

Likewise, if there’s a particular series you’d like to see more of or less of, I want to know that as well. I’ve been tweaking a few things in both content and promotion of content. I won’t bore you with the results, yet, but as Bob Dylan said, oh the times, they are a-changin’ Well, maybe not all that much. Still, my main metric is what YOU the reader thinks. Do you want more Cover Vs Originals? More Retro Album Reviews? Maybe you think I should tackle another in the Their First Song series. Do you want to see a specific genre or artist featured? Let me know in the comments!

Stay safe everyone. And I hope you enjoyed this week’s playlist.
