As my regular readers know, I’m currently in crisis mode. I just haven’t had it in me to do much more than what I absolutely need to. I also adopted a kitten to help me through this time, and the little guy is quite a handful! But he’s oh so adorable. As I type this, he’s curled up on the chair beside me and purring like, well, like a kitten. So, in honor of my new baby boy, whom I have named Lore, I’ve decided to dedicate this first playlist in three weeks to him. This is Songs about Cats.

Hopefully, you won’t meow like Lore does when he wants food. That kitty does not take no for an answer! But I digress.

Folks, I don’t apologize in the least for my lack of content recently. I’ve had way bigger fish to fry. That being said, keeping up this website is a form of self-care for me. I might not get out featured articles as often as I’d like, but putting together these weekly playlists is really enjoyable. I’d do it even if they didn’t pay me. Oh wait, they totally don’t pay me! But I digress. In short, expect weekly playlists, and maybe an article here and there when I can. I at least want to get one a month. Maybe even get back to doing two a month, but one step at a time.
Now, go get yourself a cat! Seriously, Lore has done wonders for my mood and a kitty of your own will do wonders for your mood. If you’re wondering where to start, The Humane Society is always a good place.
